Whimsically Chic Wedding in Vibrant Hues at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach

Ashley and Blake’s gorgeous SoCal summer wedding was a dream come true bursting with vibrancy. From the custom decor and the floral arrangements to the signature cocktails and of course – the bride and groom themselves – this celebration was bright in every way! Ashley and Blake worked with Platinum Weddings by Kerrie to help them bring their wedding visions to life. Together they planned a gorgeous celebration of love that featured beautifully curated details throughout the day which we’re sure guests will be raving about for years to come.

When it was time to narrow down a color scheme for their big day, this fun-loving couple with plenty of humor and a large circle of friends didn’t shy away but chose a playful yet elegant palette that accentuated their vibrant personalities. Various shades of fuchsia, orange, blush and a pop of turquoise were all carefully incorporated into the design. Each color perfectly complemented the beauty of the venue and its stunning surroundings.

The pretty bride wore an elegant, off-the-shoulders gown with lovely details accentuating her beautiful figure. She completed her bridal look with a long veil and a voluminous bouquet featuring a mix of florals in an array of colors ranging from delicate blush and peach to fuchsia and warm orange tones. The handsome groom donned black tuxedo pants paired with a navy and black tux jacket. A coral-hued boutonniere completed his dapper look.

The ceremony space was set against the backdrop of the magnificent Pacific Ocean. Guests were seated on white wooden chairs facing the altar space and the rustic ceremony structure adorned with a mix of lush greenery and vibrant blooms. Our team at Flowers by Cina provided all the florals including the arch blooms and the whimsical arrangements along the aisle.

For the alfresco reception, round and rectangular wooden tables were set around the large dancefloor and the stage where the live band performed. Guests were seated on white chairs with rattan backs that perfectly complemented the rustic tables and the stunning tablescape featuring lace-trimmed chargers, silver flatware, white chiffon runners, and turquoise velvet napkins. Low centerpieces with foliage and a mix of blooms in blush, peach, fuchsia, and orange tones graced the tables. Copper vases, white candles of varying sizes, and grapefruit halves added chic decor accents to the table setting.

The newlyweds and their guests dined beneath the SoCal sky and had the time of their lives celebrating the beginning of Ashley and Blake’s happily ever after.
