Oceanview? Check. Lavish decor? Check. A picture-perfect couple? Check. Chelsea and Kyle’s wedding was a quintessential SoCal dream and no detail was out of place. Keep reading for all the swoon-worthy details from this vibrant, oceanfront wedding at Montage Laguna Beach.
Chelsea and Kyle chose to have their ceremony at one of Montage Laguna Beach’s three oceanfront lawns which are all ideal event spaces for any grand, outdoor celebration. From there, near the edge of the elevated bluffs, guests took in the magnificent 180-degree view of the Pacific Ocean and the couple had an incredible backdrop for their I Dos.
Designing a wedding at a venue with a picturesque ceremony backdrop certainly helps with the aesthetic portion of the planning process, but it takes an amazing vendor team to be able to transform even the loveliest of settings and make every wedding design unique. Adding a couple’s personal touch to a space and creating a design that reflects their specific style is truly an art form that takes many years to master. Chelsea and Kyle worked with the talented Kelsey Deprez of Intertwined Events to help them bring their wedding vision to life and oh, did she deliver!
Intertwined Events designed an elegant ceremony setup featuring all-white decor that accentuated the stunning setting without overshadowing the natural beauty of the venue’s surroundings. Flowers by Cina provided the whimsical florals that lined the sides of the aisle leading up to the ceremony space. Instead of having a traditional, tall arch that would obstruct the gorgeous view, we adorned the altar space with low, white floral arrangements. Simple, classic, and oh-so-beautiful!
After the romantic ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests continued the celebration outdoors at the event lawn space adjacent to where the ceremony was held. Long wooden tables were set around the dance floor featuring the couple’s monogram. The tables closest to the ocean were placed beneath wooden structures adorned with white chiffon drapery, lush foliage, and a variety of boho chic chandeliers. All tables were set with white linens, wooden chargers, and low centerpieces with mixed, colorful blooms in various shades of red, orange, pink, and yellow.
The beautiful alfresco reception continued well into the warm California night. The newlyweds and their guests sipped on signature cocktails, devoured excellent cuisine, danced under the stars, and created memories to last a lifetime. Flowers by Cina was honored to be a part of this gorgeous wedding. Congratulations to Chelsea and Kyle!
