What could possibly be more romantic than saying I Do in beautiful SoCal surrounded by loved ones in a stunning setting filled with florals and lush greenery? Annie and Alex’s gorgeous, blush wedding at Sherman Gardens checked all the boxes for a picture-perfect summer wedding oozing with love and romance. Keep reading for all the stunning details from this truly special day!
The beautiful bride wore a classic and elegant asymmetrical gown paired with a chic updo that accentuated her gorgeous features. For her bridal bouquet, she chose a traditional design featuring ivory blooms mixed with subtle hints of blush florals and green foliage. She completed her bridal look with a long veil trailing down her back.
The bridesmaids wore blush attire while the cute flower girls donned adorable white tulle dresses paired with smaller versions of the bridal bouquet. The dapper ring bearer looked stylish wearing a navy suit that mirrored the groom’s and groomsmen’s attire. It was most definitely a picture-perfect bridal party!
Annie and Alex teamed up with Ivy & West Events to help them bring their wedding vision to life. Once they decided on Sherman Library and Gardens to be the venue for the ceremony and reception the entire vendor team worked diligently to wow the couple and their guests on the day of the wedding.
The outdoor ceremony setting was truly dreamy. The couple said I Do in the courtyard located in the heart of the garden’s botanical setting surrounded by the venue’s stately architecture dating back to early California. With such an incredible floral-filled setting, not much additional decor was needed to create a memorable ceremony setup.
For the outdoor reception, the couple’s planner designed a traditional, yet whimsical chic celebration under the California sky. Rustic wooden tables were set with sheer, ivory table runners, coral-inspired chargers in rose gold, and low centerpieces featuring blush and white blooms paired with greenery that perfectly complemented the lush surroundings of the space.
The newlyweds and their guests dined under the SoCal sky and hundreds of overhead string lights. It was truly the perfect night celebrating love and the beginning of happily ever after!
