Desiree and Casey’s beautiful, European-inspired wedding has been featured in California Wedding Day Real Weddings Spring/Summer 2020 Special Edition. The gorgeous alfresco celebration was a perfect mix between Italian Dolce Vita and Southern California charm.
Desiree and Casey tied the knot in a traditional ceremony at the local church and held their reception outdoors at Rolling Hills Country Club in Palos Verdes.
“The couple initially wanted to get married in Italy, but decided instead to bring Italy to Los Angeles with a European-inspired wedding design. With fresh lemon citrus accents, a cheese and charcuterie display, and antipasto and pizza stations, their day embodied a full Italian festa,” Mackenzie Sylvester of California Wedding Day said.
Desiree and Casey worked closely with planner Kelsey Connelly of Kelsey Events to bring their Italian wedding visions to life.
A mix of rectangular and round, rustic wooden tables were set up on the manicured lawns by the Club house. The tablescapes featured centerpieces with crisp, white florals and lush greenery, paired with blue china that matched the seaside setting. Fresh lemon citrus accents added pops of color throughout the decor.
