Ethereal Oceanside Wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

New Yorkers Sonya and Emmanuel had an ethereal oceanside wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. The couple exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends, many of whom had travelled far to be a part of the couple’s special day.

“Manny used to live and work in Orange County several years ago, so he always had a fondness for Southern California. When we were considering wedding venues, we both fell in love with The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, and wanted to give our friends and family a fabulous destination wedding experience,” the bride said.

The couple envisioned their wedding to be an elegant and romantic black tie affair with a chic and modern twist. To bring their vision to life the couple worked closely with planner Agape Planning. Together they decided on a clean color palette with all-white florals and metallic accents, and sleek bridesmaids gowns in the bride’s favorite color – black.

For the romantic ceremony setup the couple chose arrangements of white blooms with lush greenery, white wooden chairs, and gold metallic accents. The beautiful bride and groom exchanged vows beneath a floral-filled arch on clear, acrylic pillars that enhanced and captured the beauty of the ocean backdrop.

The reception took place indoors and the creative team transformed the ballroom into the couple’s desired black tie affair with the mix of black, white, and gold details paired with classic yet modern floral arrangements and candles of varying heights. The newlyweds were seated at a golden sweetheart table with an abundance of white blooms cascading down the sides of the table.

“I still remember getting goosebumps when Manny and I walked into the ballroom for the first time. Our wedding day went by so quickly, but we enjoyed every second of it,” the bride said.
