Bespoke Wedding with Tuscan Garden Vibes at Shady Canyon Golf Club

A Tuscan garden nestled in the midst of a beautiful canyon may not be the setting that immediately comes to mind when one thinks of a “SoCal wedding”, but this is exactly what Shayna and Chance envisioned for their big day. Shady Canyon Golf Club is a private venue located between two freeways and a mere 15-minute drive from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Despite the busy surroundings and close proximity to major tourist attractions, Shady Canyon Golf Club is a tranquil location that provides a serene setting for guests to experience a feeling of being transported to Tuscany for the day. With meticulously manicured greens and picturesque fairways set against a magnificent backdrop and a beautiful clubhouse, this is the perfect setting for an intimate celebration.

Shayna and Chance worked with planner Kelsey Desprez of Intertwined Events to help them bring their wedding visions to life at this beautiful venue. The ceremony took place right outside the golf clubhouse. Guests found their seats on elegant rattan chairs facing the altar space set against the spectacular canyon backdrop. For the ceremony, the Flowers by Cina team provided low, whimsical floral arrangements in a soft palette consisting of green, ivory, and peachy hues that complimented the venue and its lush surroundings. 

Shayna looked absolutely stunning wearing a classic, lace gown and with her long, blonde hair cascading down her back. The bridesmaids wore beautiful, pistachio green dresses that perfectly complimented the bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids’ bouquets as well as the ceremony blooms.

The reception space was a Tuscan garden dream! The design centered around the dance floor and a large, wooden structure which was adorned with lush, foliage. A mix of wooden tables and tables dressed in white linens were paired with European-style rattan chairs. The wooden tables were set with chiffon runners, lace-trimmed chargers, and low gold vases featuring blooms in soft hues that mirrored the overall color scheme of the wedding design.

In addition to the tablescapes we incorporated subtle, blush florals throughout the reception space including the front of the stage where the band performed and around the cake display table which created a cohesive and elegant reception vibe. We always love working with an understated and elegant color scheme that is sure to stand the test of time!
