Ash and Ben’s Ojai Valley Inn wedding showcased modern floral design with a timeless touch. The ceremony, held on the Artist Cottage Lawn, featured a floral-lined aisle of baby’s breath, roses, and white calla lily stems. A semi-circle of coordinating florals framed the couple beneath a heritage oak tree, creating a clean and elegant setting for their vows.
Cocktail hour in the courtyard included chic lounge setups and cocktail tables surrounding the venue’s grand outdoor fireplace. The understated florals added a seamless flow from the ceremony to the reception.
The reception, held on the lawn under an open-air black structure, combined modern and timeless elements. Billowing white drapery framed the entrance, and the space was illuminated by candles, chandeliers, and glass pendants. Floral centerpieces on the tables featured minimalist groupings of white calla lilies, roses, ranunculus, and tulips in clear vases, complementing the black-and-white palette.
One of the standout floral moments was the ceiling installation over the dance floor—a stunning design of suspended baby’s breath paired with lighting that added texture and depth. The wedding cake, displayed on a black table surrounded by lush florals in a “cake meadow” style, provided another focal point that tied the design together.
