Nayani and Zack had a stunning, vibrant wedding at Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach. The beautiful wedding featured two ceremonies, and a gorgeous ballroom reception celebrating two families and cultures coming together as one.
The New York-based couple treated their loved ones to a multicultural wedding in Southern California celebrating the bride’s Sri Lankan heritage as well as the groom’s Jewish faith.
Guests gathered poolside at the Waterfront Beach Resort for the couple’s Sri Lankan Hindu wedding ceremony. A floral-adorned mandap stage was set up by the pool and guests, eagerly awaiting the bride’s arrival, were seated facing the stage.
Nayani was escorted down the floral-filled aisle by her parents and Tholi. She looked stunning in her gorgeous blue sari accented with gold jewelry and a colorful bridal bouquet. The handsome groom greeted her on the stage wearing traditional Sri Lankan wedding attire.
After the Baraat ceremony the couple retreated to their respective suites at the resort to change into their traditional Western wedding attire. The couple had their first look shortly after on one of the suite balconies overlooking the ocean. Nayani wore an exquisite bridal dress in white lace and Zack a classic, navy blue suit with a purple tie.
Nayani and Zack’s wedding reception started out with the couple paying respect to the groom’s Jewish faith during a short ceremony. Surrounded by their loved ones the couple exchanged vows framed by a flower-adorned arch over their sweetheart table.
The second ceremony was followed by a beautiful ballroom reception. Nayani and Zack worked closely with planner Monique Atwell of A Signature Wedding to help them bring their wedding vision to life. Together they designed a classic reception featuring round tables dressed with white linens adorned with votive candles and low centerpieces with blush and white blooms.
The newlyweds listened to speeches and toasts seated at their floral-filled sweetheart table and savored every moment of their special night. The night came to an end after the bouquet toss and garter removal and many hours spent on the dance floor.
