The Tradition… Annual Vow Renewal
Your wedding day one of the best of your life; what better way to relive that union than to renew your vows every year for your anniversary?
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have celebrated their vows every year since they were joined in marriage in 2008. Their first renewal was in The Maldives in 2009, the second was held at their Beverly Hills home, the 3rd was in the hospital due to Nick’s kidney failure scare in 2011. A very special 4th vow renewal was planned in Paris. This year, their fifth anniversary, they ventured to Disneyland to have an exclusive fairytale ceremony themed “Do you Believe in Fairytales?”
And yes we do after working on this lavish and very special occasion.
To make this fairytale design a reality, we worked closely with The Disneyland Fairytale Weddings Team and trickled fairy dust, hung crystals, and chose the most romantic flowers. The scene was set right in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. This year was especially sentimental to the loving couple because they were able to have 250 of their family and closest friends as guests. Family and friends were fortunate to also be apart of their twin’s 2nd birthday party, which took place prior to the vow ceremony.
Their beautiful twins were also involved in their entire ceremony. Monroe made a grand entrance with Mariah in the Cinderella horse carriage and Moroccan wore a prince suit that matched Nick’s. The storybook couple sealed their love with a kiss as fireworks lit up the sky above the Sleeping Beauty castle. A reception followed in Fantasyland where Nick dj’d for his beloved guests. It isn’t difficult to assume this infatuated couple and devoted family will successfully live ‘happily ever after!’

THE CASTLE WEDDING
Nick and Maria were married in front of the castle after the park closed. This is an option for only the most Royal Princesses Brides. You could arrive for your wedding in Cinderella’s glass coach, have a handsome major domo carry wedding rings to the altar in a glass slipper, or have Mickey and Minnie greet guests at the reception! The Castle is an iconic symbol and having your wedding ceremony here is the stuff that dreams are made of.
