Gorgeous Wedding with Pops of Blue at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

At Flowers, by Cina we love traditional just as much as we love trendy, and don’t ask us to choose between all-white or colorful blooms because we adore them all equally. Lucky for us we recently got to combine the best of both worlds – classic white and trendy blue – for Navi and Chris’s gorgeous wedding with pops of blue at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel!

Aside from white, blue is likely the color that most people associate with weddings. Incorporating “something blue” on your wedding day is a tradition that originated in England during the Victorian Era. Blue was chosen because it symbolizes love, purity, faithfulness, and modesty. Today couples like to continue the tradition of adding “something blue” on their wedding day. With so many gorgeous shades of blue to choose from and limitless ways to incorporate the color depending on your style and personality – it’s easy to find the perfect blue hue and details that work best for you on your special day.

For Navi and Chris’s wedding at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, the couple chose a color scheme that was predominantly white, but with beautiful pops of blue throughout the design. The bridesmaids wore stunning, sky blue dresses and their bouquets featured ivory blooms mixed with blue hydrangeas that perfectly matched their dresses.

The ceremony was set against the spectacular ocean backdrop. Guests were seated on white, wooden chairs facing the white altar and the elegant ceremony structure adorned with all-white blooms. Four elevated floral arrangements on acrylic stands graced the entrance of the ceremony space while six smaller arrangements were placed along the petal-filled aisle leading up to the altar space.

Navi looked absolutely stunning in her elegant bridal gown and with her long, brown hair pulled back in a chic half updo that held her minimalistic veil in place. The bouquet featuring classic ivory blooms and lush foliage completed her sophisticated bridal look.

Navi and Chris worked with Elsa and Mel of ME Weddings & Events who helped the couple bring their wedding vision to life. Together they created an elegant and modern wedding vibe from start to finish with timeless white paired with soft-hued blue tones and silver accents.
