Family-oriented Reception in Soft Pink and Elegant Navy Blue Hues

Samantha and John wed on a glistening day in February. They celebrated their nuptials with a family-oriented reception in soft pink and elegant navy blue hues at the Hilton Waterfront Resort in Huntington Beach.

The stunning bride wore a romantic off-the-shoulders gown with incredible, delicate lace details throughout. The sheer veil was tucked into her sophisticated half-updo and a sparkly headband pulled her long, dark beachy waves away from her beautiful face. To finish off her bridal look Samantha wore gorgeous fingerless lace gloves adorned with pearls and a bracelet, a necklace, and earrings that sparkled in the glistening California sun.

For her bouquet, the bride chose white, ivory, and pink blooms mixed with lush greenery cascading down the front. The bridesmaids had miniature versions of the bride’s bouquet and wore pink lace dresses, except for the matron of honor who wore a navy lace dress.

The groom looked handsome in his navy tuxedo with a single white rose boutonniere to match his bride’s bouquet. The groomsmen wore grey suits with pink ties and pocket squares except the for the best man who wore a grey suit with a navy tie and matching navy pocket square to color-coordinate with the groom.

The couple worked with wedding planner Events by Robin to design their dream reception at the Hilton Waterfront Resort in Huntington Beach. Together they decided on a reception design in white, pink, and navy tones with round tables to create an intimate setting.

The tables were set with linens in soft pink paired with navy blue napkins. Each table featured a clear, elevated centerpiece filled with white blooms and lush greenery. In addition, every table had an abundance of white candles and small vases with individual roses placed around the tall centerpiece in the exact same hue as the beautiful pink place cards.

The stunning four-tier wedding cake had delicate details mimicking lace and pearls. The top and sides were adorned with pink and peach-toned blooms that tied in with the rest of the reception decor.

As the sun set over the Pacific Ocean and the newlyweds twirled onto the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife their loved ones cheered them on. The entire room was filled with love and wishes for the Mr and Mrs to live happily ever after.
