Caitlyn and Ryan’s beautiful Vibiana wedding has been featured in Inside Weddings Winter 2020 issue. We love seeing the stunning photos in print and reliving their floral-filled, elegant Art Deco inspired wedding that truly was one for the books.
Caitlin and Ryan wed in a traditional Catholic ceremony at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church and had their magical reception at the historic Vibiana in Los Angeles. The couple knew early on in the planning process that they wanted an overall clean aesthetic that complimented the historic and timeless architectural aspects of both venues, while also incorporating modern decor elements.
The couple collaborated with wedding planner Monique Atwell of A Signature Wedding to bring their visions to life. Together they designed a wedding that perfectly mixed the timeless architecture with elements of modern decor using primarily the color of white and accenting with gold metallics.
The tabletops were carefully crafted with a variety of white blooms and lush greenery that incorporated a bright, fresh, and unique feel, while keeping the overall look classic. The couple especially requested to showcase lots of sword fern, which is reminiscent of feathers – a nod to the Art Deco elements of Vibiana,” the bride told Inside Weddings.
The couple states they were “thrilled with the final result Melissa McGowan of Flowers by Cina had constructed”.
“I’ll never forget the overwhelming sensory sensation when opening the doors to the main hall. I wish I could bottle the wonderful fragrance of our florals!” the bride told Inside Weddings.
