Novelle and Richard wed on a glorious day in Newport Beach. Friends and family gathered from near and far to witness the happy couple get married in a colorful, traditional wedding on the beautiful premises of The Resort at Pelican Hill.
The bride looked stunning in her traditional wedding gown honoring her family’s South Asian heritage. The warm-toned burgundy gown was perfectly paired with matching jewelry, including a magnificent Maang Tikka that sparkled beautifully against her black hair.
For her bouquet Novelle chose crisp, white orchids and roses that accented the luxurious bridal look perfectly. The bridesmaids wore traditional Indian attire in pale, pistachio green, elegantly paired with gold shoes and ivory-hued bouquets.
The groom and his nine groomsmen looked handsome in their classic, black tuxedos.
The celebrations started indoors with a traditional ceremony honoring the culture of Novelle’s side of the family. The couple’s loved ones gathered to witness the bride and groom say I Do beneath a majestic floral chandelier in the intimate ceremony space.
After the indoor ceremony guests made their way down to the resort’s famous rotunda were the outdoor ceremony would take place. Tall, elevated floral arrangements in blush and ivory greeted guests as they entered the ceremony space and took their seats on gold chairs facing the rotunda. As they waited for the bride to make her grand entrance guests enjoyed the sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean.
The gorgeous ceremonies were followed by a stunning outdoor reception. In collaboration with the creative team, with Stylish Details Events at the helm, the couple chose a soft, romantic color palette of white and pink with gold decor.
Guests were seated at round tables overlooking the beautiful grounds of Pelican Hills Resort while the newlyweds’ floral-filled sweetheart table was facing the guests. It was a heart-felt and romantic reception infused with the love of family, culture and traditions.
