Coastal Chic Wedding with a Boho Vibe Featured in California Wedding Day

Jessica and Kevin’s gorgeous wedding at Huntington Bay Club was recently featured in the print edition of California Wedding Day and we couldn’t be more excited! Keep reading for more details about this coastal chic wedding with a boho vibe. The beautiful celebration was surely one for the books!

“I had a pretty clear vision of what I wanted my wedding to look like. I’m not a fussy gal, but I wanted it to look coastal chic with a touch of bohemian softness. So many people think because a wedding is at the beach or on the sand that it’s all flip flops and Hawaiian shirts… I wanted to elevate that. Flowers by Cina took my color boards and ideas and elevated the scene!” the bride said.

Jessica and Kevin worked with Candice Sanders of Engaged Events to help them coordinate their wedding day. For the bayfront ceremony, the vendor team incorporated a double arch, built by a close family friend, to frame the space and create a gorgeous backdrop for the couple’s I Dos. The ceremony space also had lanterns, pottery, and glass vases placed sporadically along the aisle and behind chair backs for additional touches of whimsy.

The alfresco reception had a romantic, rustic, and eclectic vibe. Round tables were set with vintage champagne coups and light blue water goblets at each place setting along with rattan Tiffany chargers and a napkin treatment featuring a sprig of greenery, blue velvet ribbon, a custom etched wood name, and a thank you note from the couple for guests attending. The centerpieces featured beautiful pieces of greenery and pampas grass with a variety of white and blush flowers…and little hints of blue. The curated decor, which included hundreds of candles, cast a coziness to the beautiful reception.

“The most precious moment of the evening was when both of us were sitting at our sweetheart table and looking out to everyone. It was like everything paused and we were just in the moment – the two of us!” the bride said.
