Brianna and Diego tied the knot in a traditional ceremony at Mariners Church in sunny Southern California and had a spectacular oceanfront reception at Balboa Bay Resort. The fun and color-loving couple had a clear vision for their nuptials and knew early on that they wanted a blush wedding with pops of red.
The bride looked stunning walking down the aisle in an off-the-shoulder gown, sparkly shoes, and with her beautiful dark hair trailing down the back. The gorgeous bridesmaids greeted her by the altar wearing blush dresses and holding bouquets that mirrored the bride’s bouquet – a whimsical mix of blooms in various blush and pink hues with pops of red.
The groom looked handsome in his white tuxedo jacket and black pants while the dapper groomsmen wore all-black tuxedos. The bridal party also included two adorable flower girls who carried golden floral hoops with delicate blooms that matched the bride’s bouquet perfectly.
“My whole life I have loved the colors pink, white and burgundy. I have always had a vision in my mind of how I wanted the flowers to look and Flowers by Cina gave me my exact vision. They added flowers to places I never thought would have flowers (under the cake) and the bouquets were so perfect,” said the bride.
To help bring Brianna and Diego’s visions to life for the reception at Balboa Bay Resort the couple worked with planner Robin Ballard of Events by Robin. Together they designed a sophisticated all-white reception space with gold accents and centerpieces with hints of red to incorporate the couple’s affection for the vibrant color.
“The planning process was very smooth and easy thanks to my mom and Robin. They took my exact vision and brought it to life and it was a magical night I will never forget,” the bride said.
The newlyweds shared their first meal as husband and wife seated at a floral-filled sweetheart table overlooking the reception space and all their loved ones who had gathered around them on their special day.
“The most special moments that I had about the wedding was honestly the picture taking moments with Diego. When it was just the two of us, during the sunset, dancing together and being us,” the bride said.
